Handover at the Ministry of Defence’s «Licio Giorgeri» Territorial Technical Office, headquartered in the neapolitan Capodichino airport.
Colonel Alessio Grasso, the new director, took the place of colonel Antonio Di Pardo, exiting director.
The ceremony has been officiated by general Giuseppe Lupoli, an Inspector of the Ministry of Defence’s Directorate for Aero-navigability and Aeronautic Weaponry. Local civil and military authorities took part in the event, together with all personnel from the Territorial Technical Office.
Colonel Di Pardo remembered the period he was in command as one marked by a deep professional and human dedication, that allowed him to enormously enrich his experience and to prepare himself for his new appointment at the International Eurofighter Agency in Munich, Germany.
In his settlement speech colonel Alessio Grasso expressed pride and satisfaction for the trust granted to him by the Ministry of Defence in assignning him the prestigious appointment as Director of the Territorial Technical Office in Naples.
He thanked colonel Di Pardo for the job he did and gave his salute to the authorities and delegations that were attending.
